The Compassionate Friends, Australia.
This site will give you an insight into our Organisation and activities and if you are
a bereaved parent, sibling or grand-parent we hope that it will provide you
with information about where and when you may contact us and perhaps encourage
you to come along to one of our Sharing Meetings or contact one of our Chapter
Leaders.
The mission of The
Compassionate Friends is to assist families in the positive resolution of grief following
the death of a child and to provide information to help others be supportive.
TCF is part of
world-wide self-help organisation offering friendship and understanding to bereaved parents,
siblings and grand-parents. We offer friendship and understanding to
families who are grieving the death of a child of any age, from any
cause. All bereaved family members are welcome.
In
Australia, TCF is organised into autonomous state
organisations. This web site is managed by TCF (NSW)
and contains materials contributed by all the state organisations for the
benefit of all Australian grieving families. Please select the appropriate
state organisation for you from the menu bar at the top.
